On June 25, Nanjing Corun Industrial Additives Co., Ltd. independently developed the environmentally friendly metalworking fluid KR-C8930XH, which won the 2026 Ringier Technology Innovation Award. This marks the third consecutive year that Corun has received this prestigious award, demonstrating the company’s sustained innovation capability and influence in the high-end metalworking fluid sector.
I. Focusing on High-End Manufacturing, Serving Aerospace Applications
With the rapid development of the aerospace industry, the demand for processing advanced materials such as aluminum alloys and titanium alloys continues to increase.
During long-cycle machining, aerospace aluminum alloys are prone to pitting and intergranular corrosion. Titanium alloys, due to their low thermal conductivity and heat accumulation during cutting, cause rapid tool wear. These challenges place higher requirements on the lubrication and cooling performance of metalworking fluids.
To address these issues, Corun’s R&D team, supported by achievements from national key R&D programs, developed the environmentally friendly metalworking fluid KR-C8930XH, providing reliable support for high-end aerospace manufacturing.

KR-C8930XH achieves multiple breakthroughs in lubrication, protection, and environmental performance:
1. High-Efficiency Lubrication
The product adopts modified bio-based ester lubrication technology. During titanium alloy machining, it forms an extreme-pressure lubrication film that effectively reduces friction, improves machining efficiency, and extends tool life.
2. Long-Lasting Corrosion Protection
Nano-modified materials construct a dense protective system, providing corrosion resistance for aerospace aluminum alloys including 7xxx, 6xxx, and 2xxx series as well as die-cast aluminum. It significantly enhances anti-corrosion performance during long-cycle aluminum alloy machining.
3. Green and Environmentally Friendly
The product is free of boron, halogens, nonylphenol, and formaldehyde-releasing biocides, achieving a balance between high performance and environmental sustainability.
III. Application Validation and Value Demonstration
KR-C8930XH has been successfully applied in multiple aerospace enterprises. It not only meets complex machining conditions but also improves machining quality and tool life, achieving cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
